We need them for shopping, in shipbuilding, to sit on, and even to ride on.

Yet, this wonderful material conceals a growing pollution of our waterways. This is leading—and indeed is already leading—to one of the greatest environmental problems on our planet.

GET CONFRONTED!

Since August 2022, my virtual reality experience—which addresses this very issue—has been available at the Mosellum in Koblenz.

Experience the Moselle in a lifelike 3D world and step into the role of a diver. Here, players are deliberately confronted with plastic-containing everyday objects and consumer goods.

Thanks to the interactivity and immersion of virtual reality technology, you will experience the Moselle—its wildlife and the issue of plastic waste—up close and firsthand.

Through the interactivity and immersion of virtual reality technology, you experience the Moselle—its wildlife and the issue of plastic waste—up close.

While exploring and ultimately collecting plastic waste within the Moselle, the player not only acquires specific environmental knowledge but also receives direct feedback on how to avoid waste and pollution of this kind.
