Time Swap

Multimedia Real-time Spatial Exhibition

TIME SWAP

“Time Swap” is a multimedia, interactive media space experience visualized in Unreal Engine 4.

It guides visitors through the epochs and climatic history of the Rhine-Main region:
– Last Glacial Maximum (LGM)
– Early Boreal / Boreal
– Little Ice Age
– The Present Day in the Rhine-Main Region

Thanks to various direct “no-touch” design elements within the application—and the integration of COVID-19 safety measures into its design—this experience is tailored to a wide range of target groups, particularly museum enthusiasts. Schoolchildren, university students, artists, scientists, and others can experience the history of the Rhine-Main region in an interactive way.

The exhibit is on display at the Museum Sinclair-Haus in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse.

My Areas of Responsibility

Time Swap began as a master's thesis by Til Müller and was subsequently exhibited—in cooperation with the Institute for Digital Museum Media (Institut für digitale Museumsmedien e. V.)—at the Museum Sinclair-Haus in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse.
